Mastermind
----------

Commodore 64 version.
Use joystick in port 2 to play the game.

The idea of the game is for two players (the codebreakers) to guess the secret code chosen by the computer player (the code-maker).

The code is a sequence of 4 colored pegs chosen from 4-12 colors available.
You choose from the menu if it should be 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 colors in the hidden code.

Duplicates are allowed, so the computer could even choose four code pegs of the same color.

The code-breaker makes a serie of pattern guesses.
After each guess computer gives feedback in terms of two different colored pins.

Small black pins indicating correctly positioned pegs and white pins for pegs included but are positioned wrong.

For example, if the hidden code is white-black-white-red and the player guesses white-white-white-black, the code-maker will award two black pins for the two correct whites, nothing for the third white as there is not a third white in the code, and a white pin for the black placed in wrong position.

No indication is given of the fact that the code also includes a second black.

The code-maker gets one point for each guess a code-breaker makes.
An extra point is earned by the code-maker if the code.breaker doesn't guess the pattern exactly in the last guess.

To prevent the code-breaker takes too much time to think, you can choose a time limit in the menu.

Good luck with the code-breaking!
